AIESEC Victoria is hosting a Global Village at Melbourne University on Friday, the 19th of September! From 1:30pm till 4.30pm you will be able to immerse yourself into a variety of cultures. It will be a fun filled afternoon with forums, hands-on activities, and stalls representing different countries to transport you back to their country. We had our stall decorated to full exuberance, wore traditional costumes and offered the public a chance to dabble in a number of Malaysian games: congkak, batu seremban and lompat tali.
Global Village 2008 seeks to empower young people like yourself to become active leaders for the future. You will gain first-hand experience in workshops and other activities which aim to reveal the important links between countries across the world, and how globalisation presents opportunities and challenges for different societies.
Come and learn more about different cultures from leading academics as well as executives who have established businesses overseas!
