MoMU Annual General Meeting (AGM) - nominations open
MoMU Elections! The time has finally come for us, the current 2008/2009 committee to step down, and make way for fresh new faces. MoMU's Annual General Meeting, held in 2 weeks time, is where YOU will have the power to vote in your new committee for year 2009/2010.

When: Friday, 21st August 2009
Where: Graham Cornish A & B, Union House
Time: 2.30pm (please come on time)
The purpose of the AGM is to ratify our club constitution, make some necessary amendments and vote the official committee in.
All MoMU members from Melbourne University are eligible to run for any of the committee positions.
The committee positions that are available are:

Executive*
- President (1)
- Vice-President (1)
- Secretary (1)
- Treasurer (1)
* note that 2 members of Executive must be Student Union members
Directors
- Activities Director (1)
- Assistant Activities Director (1)
- Publicity Director (1)
- Assistant Publicity Director (1)
- Sponsorship Director (1)
- Assistant Club Sponsorship Director (1)
- Assistant Events Sponsorship Director (1)
If you are interested in running for a position (or multiple positions) please send me an email before Wednesday 19th August 2008, 11pm so that proceedings can be arranged.
Send in your name and the position which you would like to run for. You can nominate yourself however you will need someone to second your nomination (your seconder will also have to attend the AGM)
Nominations for committee positions will be called out at the AGM hence no proxies are permitted - you need to be present at the AGM to be eligible.
So don't be shy to come up to our table at Union House at 12-2pm if you want to find out more about the positions available.That's all for now and I look forward to receiving the nominations. DON"T FORGET TO COME AND SUPPORT THE AGM !! After all, it is your committee, so you should have a say as to how your club is run! :)
