Uni is finally starting! Everyone geared up for a new semester? Or am I the only one feeling uni blues....Well, either way, Welcome Back! From all of us at MoMU :)

1) Clubs & Societies Day

Come check out our orange MoMU booth during C&S Day. Drop by to renew your MoMU membership or bring along your friends and sign up for great privileges!

Time : 12- 4pm

Membership fee (non-union member) : $10 per year

(union member) : $5 per year

This year, we will be ushering in 2009 with awesome lucky draw prizes such as book vouchers from Encompass Bookstore, Free World Series Paintball Entries, KBox cash vouchers, and movie tickets .




Also, look out for our new attraction of the booth. No, its not our usual "Guess the Durian Weight" anymore. Our Activity Department have spent the whole holidays just formulating this new game. Sorry we cant spill the beans, you guys have to go check it out! You will not be disappointed! ( if you are, come see me =P ). The lucky person who wins the game will win our top secret prize! Think I'm joking? Think again...

2.) Chilli Malam with MoMU

Date : 26th, 27th and 28th of February (Thursday to Saturday)
Time : 10pm to 5am

3.) Welcome BBQ 2009

We cant usher in a new semester without our signature Welcome BBQ event,now can we? Well, this year, we have put together a bigger and better BBQ just for you guys. The best part is, everything is absolutely FREE! What better else to do on a Saturday then free BBQ and awesome games where you meet new people and possibly take out on the committee members ( you wish! =D ).

4) Treasure Hunt

And lastly,our finale, the much anticipated Treasure Hunt. We have approved a very adventurous and exciting Treasure Hunt proposal submitted by our Activities Department, so join in and see Melbourne in a different light!

Date : 15th March 2009, Sunday

Time : 1pm

Meeting point : To be confirmed

Fee (refundable) : $5 per person upon sign up ( to be refunded on the day of event)

5) Australian Education International (AEI)

We have received an email from AEI regarding internship and study opportunities in Malaysia for Australian and Malaysian students. AEI will provide financial support of twenty-five $2000 scholarships. However, these will only be offered to those undertaking an intership starting prior to the 30th June 2009. The Malaysia Australia Business Council (MABC) is offering free return flight from Australia to Malaysia for one student to undertake internship in Malaysia.
